Alice in Wonderland...

...not excellent?

Re: Alice in Wonderland...

If I wasn't reading this out loud to my daughter there would have been no way in hell I would have finished it! I found it SO boring. I have two illustrated versions, both wonderful to look at, but with not enough pictures in them. Isla really only laughed when I would put on my Queen of Hearts impressions with "Off with their heads."

Re: Alice in Wonderland...

you´re probably right - I wrote my comment more out of sentiment than really from any experience reading the original as an adult... but there are some really nice crazy thoughts in there, anyway.

Hey, Paul. For some reason your RSS feed is not showing any of the green shading that the LJ page proper does. Sort of gives the post an interesting flavour that I bet you didn't mean. :)

Cheers,

Jason

Thanks, Jason. That'll teach me to cut and paste from Excel into Word into LJ so it can get the green shading. (An Excel paste won't do it alone).

For RSSrs, the green ones were:
Kaaron Warron (Grinding House)
Wilbur Smith
Ian McDonald
Bob Franklin
Khaled Hosseini
Ramsey Campbell
Peter Straub
Dennis Lehane
